Great but I want to see the customization
For those who have an IntelliPoint with the pressure switch already, FreeWheel’s minimal yet powerful interface immediately gives you a good taste of the full version of the program. The fact that you can easily move between document and application windows is definitely the most useful feature of this program. Unfortunately, the program’s documentation does not explain how to customize the cursor position with the FreeWheel.

Trying to configure the browser bar and tag cloud for my C:\Dev\ we can get into an infinite loop. We end up with “error-1.png” or “error-2.png” etc…Does anyone know what the correct parameters should be for a vertical side bar? Looking through the internet I’ve seen many people use “-b 1072 -s 1373 -m 50,0” and others “-b 1077 -s 1382 -m 50,0”.
I’m not entirely sure if it is correct but I think I am correct in saying that the parameters are specified relative to the position in which the horizontal bar is located. I’m not entirely sure where to find the position of the vertical bar in the settings window, but it might be some information on the subject that can be found on the web.
I have tried to work with the 1009.xml file and to modify the “attributes” parameter with no success. I’ve updated to the latest version of FreeWheel and run into an infinite loop as stated above.
I’ve been trying to make this thing work for over a year and i’m pretty much at my wits end. What do I do? I have been trying to use “FreeWheel 1009.xml” file and “-b” parameter on the FreeWheel Settings window to move the browser buttons to the right. But it’s just not working!
Hi! I am using FreeWheel 5.1 in XP pro. Every time I put my mouse over the control panel in Firefox I get a message in the Task tray saying “The application FreeWheel has encountered a problem and needs to close.” But the message disappears as soon as I release the mouse. And the mouse wheel no longer moves the window. Has anyone else experienced this? How can I fix it?
I was running a firefox version. Update it, and the mousewheel no longer moves the window. Any suggestions? I’m on WinXp Sp2. If I click in the task tray it tells me “free wheel is experiencing a problem and has stopped.” But it does not actually close the program!
