Importing into Revit
Autodesk Revit now supports the import of 2D objects and annotations from AutoCAD 2023. Revit 2019 added the ability to import and export a variety of 2D annotations, including ink layers, text, line, and polyline annotations. This functionality is now included in AutoCAD 2023 and is available with the Base Services subscription.
Revit 2019 added a simple way to import 2D objects into a drawing. The objects can be imported as editable or non-editable. The objects can be in individual layers or multiple layers, and the objects can be imported one at a time or as a batch of objects.
To import objects into your Revit project:
Start by selecting Insert from the Draw menu, as shown in the image below.
In the Insert Options dialog box, select the Import Annotations tool.
