Very easy to use. I didn’t even need to read the manual. A great option for those that want to chat on an ongoing basis with people online.
Cons:
There are a few things that don’t work with this app. If you have many different people online (more than 10) then you will get disconnected at some point. It doesn’t make any attempt to reconnect to the server. There is no option to be notified when the connection goes down, and when you turn the computer off and on the connection is broken. The app doesn’t automatically reconnect to the server. I manually had to reconnect the app to the server, and the server needs to be restarted each time. I found no way to set the connection duration. It doesn’t let me choose the character encoding (some servers use certain characters) and I don’t know if it supports line breaks (or not). Also, it doesn’t show the name of the server in the Status Bar. I had to go to the window and click the button to go there. Other than that, the app is very user friendly and easy to set up. There are some settings for customizing the appearance, but I’m not sure I understand them completely.
Overall:
I like the app. It does exactly what it says it does. I have found no issues with it, I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5.
