AutoCAD is a powerful 2D drafting and design application which is also a GIS, animation, and multimedia design tool. Users can save their designs as a vector or raster image format. Pyrolysis, also referred to as pyrolysis or combustion, is a process in which a substance is burned to form an evolved gas, generally in the presence of oxygen. Common applications of pyrolysis include sampling and analysis of gas, liquids and solids for the purpose of determining the composition of the material sampled. For example, in industrial applications, samples of gas, liquids and solids are pyrolyzed to obtain compositional information for use in diagnosing and/or control of such processes.
Traditional pyrolysis processes generally involve relatively low temperatures and prolonged exposures (in some cases for several hours or even days). Therefore, traditional pyrolysis is generally slow and costly, and cannot be carried out under certain circumstances, such as in-situ, or where samples are highly heat sensitive.
Accordingly, there is a need for improved methods and apparatuses for pyrolyzing samples. There is a particular need for methods and apparatuses that are capable of significantly higher rates of temperature/time for much shorter exposure times.
