Cliff Empire V1.0.93 Mod VERIFIED

Cliff Empire V1.0.93 Mod

cliff empire certainly takes the form of a city builder, but the difference between this and the usual genre is that you are not building up a settlement, but rather trying to find a way to survive. where the city builders usually have you building a settlement, this places you in a post-apocalyptic world where cities have been devastated by an unknown cause. you start off as a refugee and you must try to set up a new life for yourself in the newly formed city. although this is the name of the game, the mechanics are not related to the usual city builder.

while building a city from scratch is an interesting concept, in practice, it quickly gets repetitive. building the power grid is a different task in each settlement, you need to have a reliable source of water and sewage, enough food and you need to build shops, education and other infrastructure to keep your population happy and growing. it is a ton of work, and although the game looks interesting, the developer could have done a lot to improve the experience. thats where lions shade comes in, bringing us cliff empire to see what they have to offer.

all of these things are just the tip of the iceberg, however, as cliff empire v1.0.93 has a few other improvements as well. theres a new way to restart the game at the last saved autosave, and an autosave feature that keeps the game playable even while it is being updated. this means if you exit the game and come back, youll get a fresh save state that you can reload without having to clear the game data or do a complete new start. this is nice, as it greatly reduces the amount of time that would be wasted if you are forced to start all over again if you make a mistake. there are also lots of other smaller improvements: new options dialog for easy switching between locations, a new tutorial that runs you through the basics more than once, and a new -but optional- resource management ui for the orbital station. if you have the mod, there are lots of small but nice changes, like the ability to have multiple maps, a different overview mode for the orbital station, and more.

Once youve had enough of your citizens, you can invite over the rest of the world to visit your beautiful and peaceful cliffs. Unlike ISLANDERS, your cliff doesnt have to be connected to the Internet to welcome invaders, but they do have to have the right amount of wood or iron ingots. Instead of water pollution, the different cliffs now show their factories and the various factories show you how much pollution they have to export.
But, seriously, I’m not upset! Cliff Empire is a great game, and I already enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. I am sad that it got released too early, since I would gladly have spent some more hours of my life with it.
No game is perfect, and Cliff Empire is no exception. There are some flaws and things that should be polished up, but in the end, this game is a lot of fun to play and experience, and that is something that is quite rare to find. The concept could be improved upon, and the AI could be better, but for now, the game is something worth checking out.
Overall, Cliff Empire has turned out to be a highly enjoyable game to play, and I hope to see some more improvements and more games of this genre. Its a fun and addictive little builder, and if you can overlook a few things that do not quite measure up to your standards, this game can be the fix you need to live happily ever after. Check it out now for yourself.
Be prepared though: Cliff Empire has a lot of content and a lot to learn. Even if you have a perfect plan (unlikely) youll find yourself having to improvise as you learn what works and what doesnt. Its not a game you can jump into and play the same way every time, and thats a good thing. The real challenge will come in spending the time to get the mechanics down and to learn how to really figure out what direction you want to go in, what things work best for you, and what you have to keep in mind as you design your city and build on the map. Once that part is done, it is always a challenge to find new ways to explore the map and new ways to experiment on it. Cliff Empire will always be a game you will be looking for more content for, and it does not disappoint.
