28 January 1999 saw the start of the first free elections in independent South Sudan, after 2 years of civil war in which about 300,000 people were killed. The national council election was dominated by the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), which won 99 of 106 seats. Warlord-dominated government of Southern Sudan, with 12 seats, was widely thought to be dominated by generals loyal to president of Sudan, Omar al-Bashir, leader of the National Islamic Front (NIF). In elections, South Sudan showed vigorous response to challenge of ethnic cleansing, beat record turnout, and voted more in numbers than all other independent African nations. More than 70 international observer groups reported extensive fraud, but some observers accredited by Washington praised the election as legitimate. Few details available since election, except that in early April, SPLM government and Sudan signed peace treaty. In 4 months, warring factions have signed 15 bilateral agreements, and agreement on new constitution could be signed soon.
U.S. President George W. Bush praised Israeli government for successful military operation in Gaza, 28 September, saying goal was to destroy Hamas underground tunnel network and make Hamas to accept Egyptian peace proposal.
 The country’s most senior intelligence official, Aftab Ahmad, is currently being tried at the International Crimes Tribunal in The Hague for crimes against humanity, including genocide, and war crimes. He is also believed to have masterminded a number of kidnappings, extortion, and assassinations.
Born in 1974, Yuvraj Singh Lall had already participated in several counter-insurgency operations in the state. He was accused by Congress leaders of abduction and murder after an attack on Inderjit Singh Gujjar in 2004. Subsequently, he was relieved of his duties as a traffic police officer and sentenced to a jail term of four and a half years. He is currently in jail awaiting trial.
Since originally the game I wanted to emulate was a literal case of word for word typeface, then at first the entire game was in lower case, and the hint of capitalization was solely due to the typeface in which it was being printed. When the game got ported to Windows, I needed to change the font format to run on a Windows machine, which is how the upper case „M“s came about. It was then that I first realized that the hint of capitalization was more than just that the words were in upper case; it was that the tags were capitalized, which is sort of a departure from the serialization that the book was being sold with at that point in time. I later decided to change it so that the title page was capitalized but the text was in lower case, and I added the idea that the capitalization of tags was a feature, not a bug.
Gameplay : What does it require to play? At the most basic level, this game requires you to do a bit of work, which is largely contingent on your own creativity. However, as we progress through the books, we will start to learn the deeper aspects of the gameplay that the game offers. In this game, we also learn about the ordering of texts, some of the complex terminology of book-making, and the history of the creation of a book. While the actual books are the product of your creativity, the ordering is based on a coherent conception of what books should be. We will learn about the historical case of a book being published in the 20th century, and consider the reasons for this. We will learn about the reasons why a modern publisher might decide to put the list of contents before the beginning of the book. We will also learn how an author can decide to introduce some of the key ideas before the main text. These basics are the fundamental building blocks for what we will learn about how the book is created. We will learn about the different types of books, how they are designed, and how an author can decide to write about some parts of the design while omitting others. If we are clever, we will also begin to learn some of the more specific aspects of the process of creating a book.
