this card is great for 2 mana. if you can get it to 3 mana, it is better for this card. great weapon is simply great. gets you to 2 mana fast, and you do 4 damage to 1 target. even though it is for 2 mana, you still have a better hand than the people attacking you. this is a good card, i like it, but if i am not winning, i will not play this. but if i am winning, i will definitely play this. i like the idea. i like the stats. i like the weapon. i just don’t like the mana cost.
when teching, i would put herald of the thundering rai-shoots in my starting deck. and then i would use a single more, and then more and more. note: you do not need to do this, but you will have a ton of fun and cover for your lack of board presence. as for herald of thundering rai-shoots, you will probably notice that he is pretty strong. and if you are using him, you should put some extra mana on your line to make sure you get to use him as a 3 drop as often as possible. also, i would suggest putting smite in your starting hand to make sure you get to use him as a 3 drop as often as possible. the only cards you can ever remove from your deck are these two.
i would always always always max out all my abilities. they do all the work for you. and sometimes, you can use them all on the same turn. heh. they have no downside. but in general, you should try and maximize the value of each ability.
when it comes to your starting deck, keep in mind that the cards you play with you access to will be set for the entire run. i would recommend getting as many of those cards as possible. because they will all be the same. and you will never be able to change them anyway. just trust me. as for people saying to get more money, which is a good idea. i would say the best way to get money is to not be a dick to other people. because you will be able to spend money you earned at the end of the run without having to ask anyone for it. just go to your stash and spend it. and i would not spend anything on the game. and you will get a lot of money. i would recommend getting as much of the cards you need, and as much of the vanity things you need. because you will not be able to change them. and you will need to change them for sure. have at least 3 alternate decks in your stash. and you should generally have between 6 and 8 of everything in your stash. just in case you need a bad run.
