The User interface is Classic. You have the ability to add & remove panels and panels type options. But i have to say that when you have JobPanels with fields they are easily lost when you enlarge your picture or tool options window to as much as it can be expanded. When nothing is selected from these tool panels and you then select a tool they all go away. How would you say that this feature could be improved?
It’s slow. Even on an i5 750 2.60 ghz with 8 gb of memory. I’ve also tried the download version and it’s 20x slower than the boxed version. I checked with an older CS5 review and that was even slower. (It’s a known issue, but apparently some of the performance issues have been resolved in the current beta)
When you load a Catalog when the file was first opened you have access to all tools available to that image and the ability to create new ones and save them to the project image. Once you close the Catalog the tools that you created to that image do not come with the project image. What would be a good way to add those tools to the tool pallet?
I would like to be able to load Catalogs when first opening a project to see all the tools available to that project without going through the entire process of making a new tool. Otherwise, I have to use up all of my tool slots first.

As we round out the new layout, we have a flexible angle-based brush that lets you paint freely with different pressures and widths. We moved the Live Masking features from the Layers Panel to their own panel, where they make live blending easy, and have significantly improved on the greatly improved layer control in the Layers panel.
