And this is my number one favorite feature.
The sheer usability of Lightroom CC will make it a compelling alternative to the new Photo Stream iPhone app. Sure, Photo Stream is a fundamental part of Apple’s vision for a world of ideas. But you can’t ignore the fact that it’s not available on non-Apple devices. And we now have a way to stream our photos, free of hassles, to a number of platforms. Will this remove the need for Photo Stream once and for all?
The History panel is useful if you are working with layers. Clicking on the history icon allows you to drag an image out of the editor for use in another document. Clicking on a previously used history item will create an exact copy. Editing a history item will remove from the history the document and the layers, while altering the name.
The Clone Tool allows you to copy and paste selected pixels. Pressing you can paste the same pixels as the original or edit applied to the region. You can also select other pixels within the editor for directing the pixels to specific areas.
If you want to change the colors of the toolbox, click on the “Bar” icon and then choose the shape and size. Selecting a color or a “gradient” is easy with the Paintbrush tool. Just click on the desired color and drag the brush into the area where you want to add the color. Use the “Erase” button to remove the color from an area. Enlarging or reducing the size of an image is easy with the “Image” tool. Just click on the desired size and push the “browse” button to select an image. Click the “Image” tool again and drag the new size into the desired area.
The Levels tool is a great tool for transforming colors in an image. Just click “edit” on the colors and adjust the Levels in the Gradation panel. While you are using the tool, you can zoom out with the “plus” mouse button.
The interface for Photoshop can be intimidating at first, as it consists of many windows that are always open. Each window has the tools that you might want to use to work with the image. This includes four different windows:
- Layers: This is where you work on your image. You can add and adjust individual color elements within layers, blend and dissolve them, clone layers, cut out parts of layers, and duplicate layers.
- Paths: This allows you to get very precise and specific with your artwork. You can create and adjust paths using handles and edit them using a vector-like tool, which allows you to move them, make them straight, or move them using a freehand tool. Paths are used to determine much of the final result for your artwork.
- Brushes: You can create custom brushes using hundreds of different brush patterns. Good brush choices are also available in the Options menu, and you can create a new brush pattern from scratch with the Star Brushes tool.
- Fill and Gradient: Use these tools to add color to your image, or to create gradients between colors.

For example, you cannot yet develop a GPU-powered 3D application today and make it perform the same as a CPU-based application.
We are in the process of finding and solving these issues. We are working hard to make native GPU APIs here at Adobe a reality, and when we do, we will see the benefits that native GPU-powered Photoshop will bring to customers.
As a result of the new native GPU APIs, native GPU 3D will not be part of the 2019 Premiere Pro and After Effects feature set. We will instead focus attention on redesigning native GPU-powered tooling into the next versions of these apps. We will also be working over the next 12 months to migrate applications and plug-ins written against the legacy APIs to the native GPU APIs, so that users will have some time to prepare for the transition. In the meantime, we encourage customers using GPU-powered 3D applications to test and demonstrate them.
