Some iPhone owners have complained that their phones are still locked to their carrier’s network and that they are unable to connect to 4G LTE networks. That problem will soon be a thing of the past, as a group of hackers has released a software download that is capable of unlocking the iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and the new iPad 2.
Cracking Adobe Photoshop is fairly easy and can be done within a few simple steps. The first step is to download Adobe Photoshop from a trusted website and then install it. After the installation is complete, you’ll need to locate the installation.exe file and then run it. Once the installation is complete, you’ll need to locate the patch file and copy it to your computer. The patch file is usually available online, and it is used to unlock the full version of the software.
Let’s take a look at LUTs (or Look-Up Tables). Under the hood, images are always processed – that is, resized, altered, etc. – before being displayed. After the processing stage, the “look” of an image is determined by color, saturation, and brightness. The entire thing is covered in the most comprehensive book I’ve ever seen (no joke). The reason Photoshop’s LUTs are useful is that they act as a reusable set of processing parameters. If you never want to darken an image or lighten it, then you can add a Lighten LUT as a preset. The Lighten or Darkslide LUTs are great, but some people have more than one image with similar characteristics. Obvious examples are photos taken with a light meter or when you capture the highlights of a subject before it’s emphasized. Once the LUT is created, it can be applied to all images in that category simply by clicking “OK”.
Let’s look at Layer Styles. I covered the subject when I reviewed the iPad Pro last year. Basically, Layer Styles provide a means of creating unique and visualized settings for selections or entire images. Layers apply styles that are linked to the selected layer, so you can control everything at once or tweak and fine-tune when you’re ready. Layer Export lets you export individual objects (layers or groups) into individual files. Use Photoshop for large projects with the Background Preview option to make sure your edits look right. There are many different ways to edit an image. You can work with selections, masks, channels, curves, levels, paint, and adjustment layers. The following sections describe these other types of layers.
A channel layer is a type of layer that doesn’t contain any material, such as a paint or adjustment layer. When you create a new layer, you can label it as either a mask or a channel layer. To create a channel layer, type /C. The next section explains how to use mask layers.
Path layers replicate traditional vector-based illustration, such as the illustration an artist might draw or paint in a vector-based application. You can create paths with the pen tool, which is found in the toolbox at the bottom of the screen. You can also create paths by dragging paths or images into the path area that’s located between the pencil tool and the eraser tool. If you create a new layer, you can choose from three mask types: None, Source-In, and Destination-Out. To create a new mask, type /Mn or press Option-N.
